Wash the wig with high-quality hair shampoo every 2-3 days; this will keep the hair shiny and soft, effectively preventing tangling and extending the wig's service life. Using a wig stand helps maintain its shape, and taking the wig off your head avoids tugging and pulling on your own hair. How to dry the wig? After soaking the wig in water, squeeze it gently to remove excess water. Do not wring it, as this may deform the wig base and cause it to dry abnormally. How to choose the right conditioner? Never use shampoo designed for natural hair when washing the wig. Although regular conditioner is acceptable, natural hair shampoo is too harsh and may lead to hair loss from the wig. When you first receive the wig, it may feel a little hard to the touch. This is normal, as we spray a styling product on the wig at the factory to maintain its curly shape. Q1. Why does the wig have a smell? A: The factory washes the hair thoroughly with warm water and shampoo. Before shipment, we apply hair oil to the wig to protect it from dye damage, lock in keratin, and retain nutrients during long-distance transportation. However, the smell will disappear after washing the wig with high-quality shampoo and conditioner. Our wig is made of 100% human hair. Since it is no longer nourished by the scalp, it may become dry and rough over time. You can apply a small amount of olive oil or other hair oils to maintain it—treating the human hair wig the same way you treat your own hair is perfectly fine. Human hair wigs tend to be a little dry after being taken from the donor, as they lose natural human nutrients. Applying some olive oil or argan oil will help keep the hair in good condition. This wig can be curled, styled, dyed, and straightened as desired.
